About Madan

Founder | Team Leader – Touch The Himalaya.

Madan Neupane is the founder of Touch The Himalaya and its sister company Manaslu Guides Nepal a passionate trekking professional with many years of hands-on experience in the Himalayas of Nepal. Born and raised in a mountain region, Madan grew up with a deep connection to the trails, cultures, and landscapes that now inspire travelers from all over the world.

Madan Says: The mountains are not just my workplace, they are my home. Every trek I organize is guided with the same care and respect I would give to my own family.”

With extensive guiding experience across the Manaslu Circuit, Tsum Valley, Nar Phu Valley, Annapurna, and other remote regions, Madan has built his career on safe trekking practices, honest service, and genuine local knowledge. He holds a government-issued trekking guide license and has successfully led trekkers across high passes, restricted areas, and off-the-beaten-path routes that require strong leadership and careful planning.

Madan founded Touch The Himalaya with a clear vision:

To offer responsible, well-organized, and personally guided trekking experiences, while supporting local mountain communities and promoting sustainable tourism. Unlike large agencies, he remains closely involved in every trip from itinerary planning and communication to guide selection and on-ground logistics.

Known for his calm leadership, transparent communication, and attention to detail, Madan works closely with international trekkers to design trips that are well-paced, culturally enriching, and safety-focused. His strong network of experienced guides, porters, and local partners ensures that every trek is handled with professionalism and care.

When you wish to Trek with Touch The Himalaya, you are not just booking a trek, you are trekking with a team built on local expertise, trust, and genuine Himalayan hospitality, led by someone who truly knows these mountains. More about Manaslu Guides Nepal.
